American Bar Association is the the largest voluntary professional association in the world. Maine Trial Lawyers Association is a professional trade association supported by dues and contributions of individual attorneys across Maine. The Maine Trial Lawyers Association was founded in 1963 and is a state affiliate of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

Associated Builders and Contractors Inc.represents merit shop contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers and associates in government policy and rulemaking, protects and enhances the free enterprise system, and provides members with value added programs, and is committed to developing a safe workplace and a high-performance workforce through quality education and training.

American Subcontractors Association a national, membership trade association of 5,500 subcontractors, specialty trade contractors and suppliers in the construction industry. ASA is recognized as a united voice dedicated to improving the business environment in the construction industry and amplifies the voice of and leads trade contractors to improve the business environment for the construction industry and to serve as a steward for the community. ASA promotes ethical and equitable business practices, quality construction, a safe and healthy work environment, integrity and membership diversity.

Associated General Contractors of Maine is dedicated to ensuring a sound and healthy construction industry, and providing the public with an assurance of the skill, responsibility and integrity of AGC-member firms. AGC Maine works for Maine’s Construction Companies by providing necessary leadership on issues from site work development to environmental policy.

National Association of Women in Construction is an international non-profit organization that has grown to a membership of 5,500 women with more than 179 chapters and advances the causes of all women in construction whose careers range from business ownership to the skilled trades. With almost 900,000 women working in construction today, the industry is becoming more accepting of their non-traditional roles.

National Association of Home Builders is a trade association that helps promote the policies that make housing a national priority. NAHB exists to represent the building industry by serving its members and affiliated state and local builders associations.
